At SA Trailer Parts, we strive to deliver your heavy-duty trailer components safely, efficiently, and transparently. Please review our shipping policy below to understand how shipping costs and delivery times are calculated for your orders. We use The Courier Guy for all deliveries.

1. Order Processing Time

  • All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.

  • You will receive another notification when your order has shipped, along with tracking information from our courier partner.

2. Shipping Rates & Weight-Based Calculations

Because trailer parts vary significantly in size and weight—ranging from small accessories to heavy components exceeding 30kg—our shipping rates are calculated dynamically based on the total weight of your order at checkout.

Our standard courier rate structure operates as follows:

  • Base Rate (Up to 20.99 kg): R200.00

  • Heavy Items (21 kg and above): A base fee plus an incremental charge of R13.50 per kg thereafter.

To keep checkouts streamlined and fair for heavy shipments, we utilize simplified weight-band averages for heavier brackets (such as 21–25kg, 26–30kg, and upward) to ensure accurate pricing without system errors.

  • Orders Over 50kg: If your order exceeds 50kg, our system is configured to support bulk/heavy-weight logistics. Should you experience any checkout blocks or require specialized freight delivery for exceptionally large trailer chassis or components, please contact us directly.

3. Local Delivery & Coverage

  • We ship nationwide across South Africa utilizing trusted courier networks.

  • Delivery times typically range between 3 to 7 business days depending on your delivery address and regional accessibility (outlying or rural areas may take slightly longer).

4. Shipping Damage or Discrepancies

  • Please inspect your package upon arrival.

  • If your item has arrived damaged due to transit, or if there is a shortage in parts delivered, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence so we can resolve the issue swiftly with our courier partners.
